The Mico real estate market is a small market in Medina County, Texas. Located just 40 miles west of metropolitan San Antonio, there are currently less than 200 residents in the Mico community. The town was created by the Medina Irrigation Company when it needed an area that workers and families could stay while working on the Medina Dam. As a result of the dam, the Medina Lake has been a great attraction for Mico residents and visitors from the surrounding communities. For adventure seekers, the lake offers swimming, fishing and boating opportunities as well as natural park areas for picnics and other fun outdoor activities.
